The PA Wilds Center has partnered with SWELL, the creative talent behind the PA Wine Land’s recent marketing efforts, to develop an external branding and marketing strategy for the PA Wilds Artisan Trail.
Branding is a concept that extends far beyond the marketing of “brand name” products or the creation of a logo. A company's brand represents their market identity—who they are, what they do, what kind of quality they provide, their reputation for trustworthiness, and more.
SWELL's work was broken down into 2 phases of research and reporting. During the week of December 8 the SWELL team toured a portion of the PA Wilds Artisan Trail, giving them a sense of the vastness of the geography, the diversity of the Trail sites and quality of the member's work. In the middle of the trip an Artisan Trail member forum was held at the Elk Country Visitor's Center. This member driven brainstorming session helped the SWELL team to get a better understanding of Trail member's physical and virtual brand needs. Artisan Trail Members were also encouraged to share ideas in advance, you can check out our online forum here and our pinterest board here.
We are now approaching the reporting phase of the project and on February 9 the SWELL team will pitch their proposed branding strategy for the PA Wilds Artisan Trail.
We are inviting members of the PA Wilds Center Board of Directors and PA Wilds Artisan Trail Advisory Board to review the pitch.
Guests have the option to join this meeting in person or virtually. If joining virtually you will be sent a website link an on February 9 at 2 pm you will visit the site to join the presentation.
